Join us at Glouglou on Thursday 23rd July, 6pm-9pm (Castle Street, Shrewsbury) for an evening of wax carving, wine, and hands-on making. This is your chance to step into the world of jewellery design – no experience needed, just a bit of curiosity.

What to expect

• A relaxed evening at Glouglou with food and drink available from the bar

• An introduction to wax carving with jeweller Sarah from Hearth & Hollow

• Use of professional tools to carve your own design from scratch

• Create a ring, pendant, or charm in wax

• Access to a selection of precious and none precious stones to add into your wax design

• Plenty of guidance and tips throughout the evening

• Your finished wax model will be sent off to be cast in sterling silver

Casting Costs(charged after the workshop depending on final weight)

Small pieces: up to £85 (most items people make fall in this range)

Medium pieces: up to £150

Large statement pieces: up to £200

Stone Costs (charged after the workshop depending on use and/or selection)

Prefer gold? Your finished silver piece can also be gold plated for an additional £15 charge — just let us know on the night.
